When was the last time you you walked out your front door without a cellphone, a child on your hip or a backpack hanging off your shoulder? When was the last time you just sat in a comfy chair next to an open window and watched spring begin to unfold before your eyes?
When was the last time you took a walk, by yourself, down the street, around the corner and just said hi to whomever was outside doing whatever?
When was the last time you played your favorite music without kids screaming in the back seats of your car, or using headphones so you could actually hear the music?
When was the last time you went to a garden center and just walked around delighting in the blooming of fresh flowers and the smell of the water mist over the evergreens and newly bundled trees?
When was the last time you did not look at your watch, stayed away from the computer, and took time to savor that moment in your life?
Well, Winning Woman friend, pick a time and make it yours! It doesn't have to be long, just enough to enjoy and savor that precious moment when it's just God and you. In silence, in a whisper, in a song...yes YOU!
Wonderful, Fabulous YOU! You are HIS Miracle! You are a One-of-a-Kind!
You, His Unique Creation, His Masterpiece, His exceptional and incomparable YOU!
He chose You and gave you a song in your heart that no one else knows except you, no one hears it the way you do, and no one can sing it like you can.
He chose to give you gifts unique to your personality, to grow up, stretch you, equip you and esteem you. And for you to share with others.
That is what a Winning Woman does - gives of herself so others are made better from what she has poured into their life.
You are lovely, you are precious, you are smart, you are intelligent, you are a Winning Woman. God does not care if you are rich, poor, or in-between. He doesn't care if you are a democrat or republican - to Him, you are HIS because of Jesus.
BTW, have you two met yet? You and Jesus? Has He knocked on your door, when you were taking time to savor life or did you miss Him? I'm sure He'll be back when you are not so busy.
Near of far, He loves you and is waiting for your invitation to join you in your quiet moments when it's just the two of you. He won't ever abandon you, leave you , divorce you, ignore you, but He will always love you, cherish you and be there by your side. NO matter what.
So, again I ask, when was the last time you took time to savor life? Don't wait till it's too late and you say those awful words,"If only.."
You are worth taking the time to be refreshed, renewed, recharged, re-filled with the energy, power, wisdom, love, compassion, confidence, faith, and winning attitude.
Rest well Winning Woman!
